Lucid have completed the Fire, Security and Data Network installations at PI Communications’ new offices premises located within the former Finaghy bank building in Belfast.
Extensive renovation work was carried out to transformer this former bank building into a modern and spacious office building.
We were contracted to design, supply and install a Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm System and a high definition IP based CCTV system across the premises internally and externally.
Included within our contracted work was to install a PC based networked Access Control system to give our client the ability to grant access to authorised personnel and manage the system and proximity tags within a dedicated software package.
Lucid had also been appointed to interconnect and test the Data Network installation among the network infrastructure included CAT5e network points and CAT7 infrastructures which was request by the client to meet the high speed connectivity FCM of our clients requirements.
A CAT7 infrastructure allowed our client to transfer large data files across a 10gigabit capable network at a superior rate compared to more common CAT5/6 cabling increasing the speed transfer rates across the entirety of their network.
The CAT5 and CAT6 network infrastructure allowed our client the ability to interconnect their PC and IP Phones onto wall mounted RJ45 sockets and patched back to a patch rail contained within a data cabinet for broadband and telecommunications equipment to be easily installed and maintained.
